WebGift was developed by a young couple, Amy and Shane who where married a few years
ago. They used a traditional registry from a large store chain and realised that
the range of items did not fully suit all their needs. They also had enquires from
guests asking if they could purchase the same item from a different store because
it was on sale or significantly cheaper. After researching Internet registries it
seemed that many were offering ‘free’ registry service only to leverage selling
their own products online. WebGift was developed as a pure gift registry service,
not an online shop trying to capture your guests. WebGift understand that online
shopping suits the needs of some guests and so future direction for the website
includes being able to access a catalogue that is operated specifically by Vendors.
Once again the intention is to provide a service to you – WebGift is not an online
store.
Ultimately WebGift was designed to offer both you and your guest an exclusive
online experience.
